Amazing Spider-Man – 07/03/12

The teaser from a few months ago did nothing to ease my fears about this movie being horrible and much too soon for a reboot. Being a huge Spidey fan, I was going to see this movie regardless but this extended trailer has definitely given me hope that this might be the start of a great run of Spider-Man movies.

The Avengers – 05/04/12

There’s not much to say about this trailer. All the movies leading up to The Avengers have been great and the anticipation has been building since Captain America last year. The only mysteries are the aliens and their ships seen in the trailer. Could these be the Skrulls that appeared in leaked footage and concept art from the cancelled Avengers video game?

Continue reading »]]> Thanks to everyone who made it out to our Transformers event on Sunday, January 22nd! It was a huge success!

We had a record number of people come out to pick up Transformers: Robots in Disguise #1 from IDW Publishing and the exclusive print created by our special guest, color artist Josh Perez.

Everyone was then treated to a free screening of the 1986 classic, Transformers: The Movie. We filled the whole theater! The Alamo Drafthouse even had to bring in chairs from the lobby to accommodate a few more people.

Be sure to join us February 19th for our next event! David Marquez will be signing copies of his new graphic novel, Fantastic Four: Season One. We will also have a free screening of the never released 1994 Fantastic Four movie.
